Street Theatre project

 

We are excited to offer a series of creative workshops in Market Rasen designed for young people, leading to book-themed performances at Word Fest Market Rasen and Gainsborough. These workshops will provide a unique opportunity to explore the creative industries through hands-on experiences in visual arts, performance, and technical theatre. Participants will engage in activities such as puppet making, mask design, costume creation, photography, character development, scripting, clowning, sound effects, and set building.

 

Led by local professionals, these sessions will offer invaluable insights and skills for aspiring creatives.

As part of the project, young people will collaborate to develop a street theatre performance showcased at Word Fest on the 12th July in Market Rasen and 13th September in Gainsborough.
