From October 2024 we worked with students from Christ’s Hospital School to develop an exciting new immersive, multi-space performance at the YMCA Youth Centre. Young people were at the heart of the creative process, shaping the script, exploring ideas, and contributing to all aspects of the production.

The final performance took place in March 2025 using all of the spaces in the YMCA and transported the audience to Roman Lincon, the Witch Trials, WW2 and the 1980s.
As the outasphere closes in and our world teeters on the brink of extinction, you, our fearless group of missionaries ‘the saviours of the earth’ have been assembled as a last-ditch attempt to save humanity. Your mission? To progress through the Historical Simulation Portal, gathering vital intelligence before travelling back in time to 2025.
A pivotal year for life as we know it, where you can change the world, one act at a time. During your mission you will encounter ruthless Romans, jeering judges and callous C.E.O’s. Make haste earth saviours, for time is running out and the mistakes of the past must be rectified to ensure a brighter tomorrow.

Pupils from St Giles Academy created two animations for the final performance based on the tribulations of Lincoln Cathedral and the Industrial Heritage of Lincoln. Additionally, 40 members of the local community created timelines to be used as part of the set,

The final filmed element of the play saw young people sending messages to 2025 from the future with their hopes for the next generation. Each participant spoke to camera about political, national and international problems that were important to them and how to improve the world for everyone, resulting in a powerful insight into the thoughts and aspirations of young people.
